One Theatre Square is one of the most iconic developments in Downtown Newark and is widely considered a major catalyst for the city’s modern revival. Completed in 2018 through a partnership between New Jersey Performing Arts Center and Dranoff Properties, the 22-story glass tower brought 245 luxury apartments, retail space, parking, and upscale amenities directly across from Military Park and NJPAC. As Newark’s first newly built high-rise residential tower in over 50 years, One Theater Square helped spark a new wave of downtown development while redefining the city skyline and attracting more residents to the urban core.
