Newark’s first waterfront rental tower brings 333 apartments and a pool deck
A major new addition to Newark’s skyline has officially arrived. Developed by Boraie Development, rising 289ft, PARQ930 is a 25-story luxury apartment tower located at 930 McCarter Highway that opened its doors on May 28th. Situated where the Ironbound and Waterfront districts meet, the high-rise introduces 333 new units to the area, marking a significant milestone in the city's ongoing waterfront revitalization.
Monthly rents begin at $2,350 for studios, $2,550 for one-bedroom apartments, and $3,600 for two-bedroom layouts. Designed to maximize its rare riverfront positioning, the building features floor-to-ceiling windows and select private balconies with views of the water and the city skyline. Inside, the units boast high-end finishes like quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliances, luxury flooring, walk-in closets, and in-unit laundry.
Residents also gain access to 30,000 square feet of upscale amenities, including an indoor parking garage, a fitness center, co-working areas with private offices, and a rooftop sky deck. The property also features an outdoor pool lounge complete with cabanas, grills, and fire pits. This launch highlights Newark’s booming residential growth, driven by developers and local officials capitalising on the waterfront's prime access to Manhattan and public transportation.
