The 22 Fulton Street development is set to bring a major boost to Downtown Newark with a planned 22-story mixed-use tower featuring 396 apartments, including 80 affordable housing units. Developed by SK Development and the Berger Organization, the project will also include ground-floor retail space, modern resident amenities, and new streetscape improvements near Broad Street and Newark Penn Station. Rising on what is currently a surface parking lot, the project represents another big step in Newark’s ongoing downtown transformation and residential growth boom.
