The approved 253 Orange Street development, known as “Christiano,” is set to become one of the newest high-rise additions to Newark’s growing University Heights and Novu District area. Developed by Gomes Group, the 14-story residential tower will bring 85 apartments, modern amenities, co-working spaces, and a rooftop deck to a currently underutilized site near Nesbitt Street. Inspired by the iconic Flatiron Building in New York City, the project features a bold modern design and continues the rapid transformation happening along the Orange Street corridor near Árbol By Gomes and Novu District Newark.
