Skyline Towers are a group of 4 40 story tower just a few blocks from Tubman Square and James Street Historic District. The development plan covers nearly 4 acres and is fully entitled for over 3 million buildable square feet. The project is designed by the Fort Lee-based firm Architectura and was spearheaded by the Sinai Equity Group, though as of mid-2025, the site has been listed for sale (marketed by Marcus & Millichap) to find a developer or partner to execute the full vision. These towers will be built from the ground up on the triangular lot at 20 Atlantic Street (currently a parking garage). These buildings will house the bulk of the project’s 2,184 new residential units with 437 affordable housing units. The plan includes five stories of retail at the base of the main tower, a top-floor restaurant, two green roofs, and high-end amenities like a library, game rooms, and a business center.
